Tricky XI

Spin the wheel to draft your manager first, then spin for each of the 11 outfield positions → pick one of the players offered → simulate the season. You get one respin for your manager and one respin for your squad if you don't like your options (unless a difficulty mode below changes that).

Difficulty modes (locks in once you start drafting):
• Casual — unlimited respins, and unlimited changes in every transfer window.
• Normal — 1 respin each for manager and squad, up to 3 changes per transfer window.
• Iron Man — no respins at all, and no changes allowed in any transfer window. The squad you draft is the squad you keep.

Realism toggles (also lock in once you start drafting):
• Captain — once your XI is complete, tap a player to make them captain. They get a small rating boost and are more likely to be your top scorer, and can never be transferred out once picked.
• Transfers — turns the January and pre-Europe transfer windows on or off. With this off, your season runs straight through with no pauses to change your squad, including before any European run.
• Call-ups — turns international breaks on or off. With this on, a player in strong form may get called up during the season. Most of the time they come back with a boost — but there's a smaller chance they come back injured instead, forcing you to draft a replacement for that slot on the spot.

Halfway through the season — you can make up to 3 changes to your squad before the run-in. Your manager stays the same.
